Problem Description
Description:
User receives ABENDS206-C8 when using DYNA-LIB and IOF together, and IOF attempts to issue an MVS or JES command.
Special Note:
Since the PTF consists of module replacements, it is in binary format, and must be uploaded to your mainframe in binary format with fixed record format and LRECL=80.
This PTF has a pre-requisite MD59986
Install Note:
1 - Uninstall the current DynaStep environment by
running the DYNUNINT procedure
(usually S DYNUNINT).
2 - Uninstall the protected code by running DYNUNINT
again, but with the UNLOAD SVC REQUEST parameter
(usually S DYNUNINT,PARM='UNLOAD SVC REQUEST').
3 - Install the new DynaStep environment by running
the DYNINIT procedure (usually S DYNINIT).
4 - Ensure that the ISPEXITS module contains the new
DYNAISPF module (eyecatcher is 02/20/09 04.49).
5 - Ensure that the DYNASTEP module being executed
is at the correct level by using the 'VER'
parameter and verifying that the date/time
in the message is 08/25/09 11.29.
