Open VTAM Interface for NetView

SyBridge™ expands NetView's capabilities, allowing system software that communicates via VTAM to communicate directly with NetView. SyBridge puts extended data analysis, problem ticket generation and powerful application performance automation directly in the scope of NetView management.

Through SyBridge, NetView can now obtain unlimited system status information from:

  • CICS
  • IMS
  • DB2
  • TSO
  • Performance monitors
  • Production control

SyBridge seamlessly integrates, using full screen data input, data output, and cursor navigation automation facilities which allow NetView to serve as a consolidated user interface across multiple software systems. Operations and Helpdesk personnel easily gain centralized access to diverse systems software capabilities without extensive training.

SyBridge also automates, using standard IBM REXX and NetView CLIST variables to proactively query system and application events, messages and thresholds and then automatically perform corrective actions. SyBridge puts extended data analysis, problem ticket generation and application performance automation directly in the scope of NetView management.
