Direct, Cut-Through Remote Access to PBX,
VoIP,
and IP-Telephony Systems
ReliaTel's secure, direct management design delivers deep
access and control, enabling users to quickly pinpoint and
diagnose complex problems, initiate recovery procedures,
and restore peak service levels.
Through ReliaTel, users directly interact with the managed
system or device as if they were physically in front of the
device, delivering the same levels of control as if the user
were co-located with the voice system. Using
ReliaTel remote access and control capabilities will:
- Reduce the Mean Time to Repair for critical
issues and problems
- Speed restoration of optimum service levels
before users are impacted
- Expedite routine maintenance activities and procedures
- Reduce the need for on-site skilled personnel
at remote locations
- Reduce travel to and from remote problem sites
- Foster greater productivity from the existing
staff
- Save money and improve the overall business bottom
line
ReliaTel securely connects with the administrative ports
of popular voice network systems including Avaya Definity,
Nortel Meridian and SL1/SL/100, and Octel voicemail servers.
Once a secure connection is established, ReliaTel grants
access to authorized users through the Access dialog of the
ReliaTel web-based Graphical Management Interface.
Authorized ReliaTel users have full remote capabilities
to:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics
- Initiate and control recovery operations
- Remotely reboot or restart systems
- Recycle power
- Perform remote system administration & maintenance
Additionally, ReliaTel maintains complete audit trails of
every action performed during a remote access session to
provide accountability and historical statistics. ReliaTel
logs the user accessing the device, how long a user accessed
a specific device, and what commands were used to diagnose
and resolve any given situation. These logs may be used to
generate management reports such as error message volumes
from each managed system, the most prevalent problems reported,
and statistics on the mean time to repair problems. |
